What inspired me to write.....
I have always loved fantasy but what really spurred me into getting off my backside and doing it were several things.
1-My favorite author Robert Jordan wrote on of the best fantasy epics I have ever read.
2-I was told to go and chase my dreams because they can come true.
3-The beginning a Stephen King book where he was speaking about people wanting to be writers but never doing it he said "If you want to write then write"

Hi again well I have some big news. I am going to be running a fantasy writing workshop at Blackfriars arts centre in my local town this September! As you can guess I'm really excited as it is a big oppertunity for me. I will confirm more information as soon as I can x
Blades of shadow a bit about the book
This is the first book in the Ravens tear trilogy and begins with my main character Silver having her world torn apart by the brutal death of her father. On the run she goes in search of those who may have any knowledge as to why her father was so cruelly taken from her.
She finds the world the dark and brutal her father had described. Everyone has their secrets many that should really be left buried. Through the dark pasts of others she has to find where today is going to lead her.
Magic and prophesy goven the land and dog her every step she has to find it in herself to fight even in her darkest hour.

Hi there and welcome to my blog site on the trilogy its self. For those of you who haven't seen the other site,(www.bladesofshadow.blogspot.com) Blades of shadow is my debut book and is the first in a high fantasy trilogy that tells the tale of Silver.
